Mukandgarh is located in Shekhawati area in Rajasthan.Known for its exquisite havelis and royal forts, this place is also called Mukangadh. Part of  Jhunjhunu district, Mukandgarh lies a few kilometres from Nawalgarh. The city founded by Thakur Mukund Singh Saheb is inhabited by people of all religion. Transport in Mukundgarh

Mukundgarh is connected to pother parts of Rajasthan  through roadways and railways. Mainbus station is located right on the Nawalgarh-Mandawa highway.  One can find autos and taxi to visit the town.Even though buses run every half hour from Jaipur they take one hour longer to reach Mukandgarh when compared to the trains. The ease of accessibility to different parts of the town is one of the attractive features of Mukandgarh. Overall, it is one of the best places to visit.

The Kanoria Haveli: The village is a very rich house for paintings. The walls of this haveli is made up of exquisite paintings. This haveli is considered to be a treasure for people who love art. The uniquely designed halls along with the exquisite floors are some of the attractive features of this haveli.

Saraf Haveil: This haveli is known as a shooting spot along with the entrance glass door that welcomes guests. The 1000-year old paintings on the walls attract many tourists.
